Would say that God has blessed you? Would you like to be more blessed? If you want to be more blessed, then here is a word from God for you!
And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Jesus said if you want to be more blessed then realize it by giving yourself and what you have away. If you want to be more blessed, here is what you can do. Be generous. But most people think that being more blessed is about getting more. When the fact is more blessed comes with giving. Give more.
This will be life changing for you and for me. More blessed comes with giving, and the key to a blessed life is a GENEROSITY. This is a change for most people. Is it a change for you?
One man gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.
One person gives and another doesn’t. The person who prospers will be generous. The key to a blessed life is a generous heart. There is a tie to how we use what we have been given. This is not just about money.
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously… You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
God wants to bless his people that are generous. But don’t just put this in the camp of money. Verse 11 says that God wants to bless us in EVERY WAY. He wants to bless us with relationships that last. He wants to bless our families. He wants to bless us physically. The blessing is not so we will get more or be more blessed. We will be blessed so that it leads to thanksgiving to God.
But why are people not more generous? Why are people not more blessed? Many people have a different mindset than what God gives us. Giving is a great thing. It is a great thing that changes the way we look at life. Often this truth can be found in this old statement: does your stuff have you, or do you have your stuff? Do you treasure what you have more than you treasure God? The answer leads to blessing if it is right!
