bad situations

The only thing that holds God back is us.  Too often peole just like you and me put God in the proverbial box saying that God only works in this way or that way.  When we’ve not seen God work in some way or deal with a situation, we begin to doubt God or even lack faith to step into new areas.

Literally these can be known as bad situations where we think the hole we are in is too deep for God, the sickness is something that God won’t heal, the relationship can’t be fixed, the job will never be found, or one of hundreds of possibilities that God won’t work in.  That couldn’t be farther from the truth.  Not only is God able, but God will work in any situation where we ask Him to.  There is no problem too big or too small for God.

I’ve been in some of those holes that seem impossible, yet God has answered my prayers.  God has lifted burdens and even healed people in big need.  Maybe a good way to practice this is to find the places that seem impossible and ask God to move, to change things, and watch God work.  Read Scripture and find the parallels.

It is amazing when God shows up where we least epect Him to.  It is amazing to watch the people who are the coldest people or thsoe who are hurting terribly be touched by the hand of our gracious and loving God.

For you will break the yoke of their slavery and lift the heavy burden from their shoulders. You will break the oppressor’s rod, just as you did when you destroyed the army of Midian.

God will remove you from slavery.  God will lift your burden.  Maybe you are in a type of slavery to a habit or an addiction or a relationship.  Maybe you have some huge burdens because of a family member or finances or your work.  Maybe you have an enemy or someone that seems to be hurting you all the time.  Those are the places where God is ready to work if you will allow Him to do so.

Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living.

“Yes,” says the LORD, “I will do mighty miracles for you, like those I did when I rescued you from slavery in Egypt.”

Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up his sleeping mat and began walking! But this miracle happened on the Sabbath,

What bad situation do you want God to work in?  Are you willing to trust God?  God will take our bad situations and turn them into celebrations of His greatness.  I want to see and experience those in my life and see them in your life too.
