This week’s volunteer of the week at The Community Fellowship is Abby Mosley!!!
Abby Mosley is 9 years old. She, her mother Tracy and sister Kaitlyn have been a very active part of The Community Fellowship family for over 6 years. Abby went on her first Mission Trip with our church family to West Virginia when she was 4 years old.
On Sundays Abby helps in the Nursery and Preschool Classes. She is also a tremendous classroom helper in Children’s Church.
During our 2nd Saturday Clothes Closet Ministry Abby has served at the Sign In Desk as well as worked in the back helping to call the numbers of the people that have come to shop. She also has helped people carry their breakfast to their seats and then helped to clean the tables after the meal. Recently when Abby learned of a child needing a coat she very eager to assist in helping to find the right coat and was instrumental in seeing to it that the coat was given to the child a few days later.
Abby’s servant heart is always apparent during our annual Back2School (B2S) event and all of the prep work that goes into it. Abby has worked measuring feet during registration and is a valuable helper on Special Needs Day in the Foot Washing Area.
On Wednesday nights Abby is part of Master Club at Rich Acres Baptist Church. She also plays Upward Basketball at Mt. Calvary and plays softball for Parks and Rec.
Abby is a very giving young lady and is always looking for ways to help others. When she grows up, she wants to be a paramedic.
Abby loves to sing and read books, especially her Bible and Diary of a Wimpy Kid. She also likes to help her Nana, Deb Mosley, cook. She is always willing to do anything that is asked of her especially when it involves helping others.
Abby’s favorite Bible Verse is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you”, says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
We are very excited to recognize Abby Mosley as our Community Fellowship Volunteer of the Week! Thank you, Abby, for always striving to help others and showing that even the youngest of the Lord’s children have a place in ministry and demonstrating God’s love to our community and to others!
