Jesus is the Savior and is the Gospel

Romans 3:23  NASB
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 6:23  NASB
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Our need for God remains true, and our inability to get to get has never changed and cannot change without the perfect taking care of the imperfect.  That is God taking care of what we cannot take care of without him.

Romans 5:8  NASB
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

All of those pieces are pointers to or points of the Gospel.  And the Gospel is the truth of God, given in Jesus for our salvation.  We are love without Him.

That has never changed.  That will never change.  When I was young, I learned the ABC’s of accepted Jesus or of being saved…

ABC’s of Salvation:  Admit you are a sinner (Romans 3:23), Believe that Jesus will save you (Romans 6:23) and Confess that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9,13)

Romans 10:9-10,13   NASB
that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation… 13 for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

So, my point is that we who follow Jesus, those who claim Christ as Savior, Christians must continue to share with others what God has done for us.

Salvation is the gift of God given to people He loves, those who do not deserve a second chance, but God gives us grace which is our second chance.

Ephesians 2:8-9  NASB
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Praise God for His grace.  Keep on sharing it with others!
