It
is the power of God that often catches my attention and then works when I think
that nothing good can come out of the situations around me. That is when I am totally wrong and often
totally missing what God is doing.
But
re-read the quote above. It may just be
the power of God that takes us out of selfishness and places us in
selflessness. It might be the power of
God that takes our misplaced faith and places it back in the right place. It must be the power of God that takes us
from the wrong direction to turn to the right direction.
The
sweetest of places the power of God will place us is in the plan of God. There is no better place than the will of God
and where the plan of God is at work.
Ephesians 1:19-20 NLT
I also pray that you will
understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who
believe him. This is the same mighty power that
raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right
hand in the heavenly realms.
May
we come to know, see and long for this greatness in our every day life. Don’t wait till Sunday or till the next
event. Live daily with the power of our
great God as your direction, your drive and your prayer. He is mighty always, and he is mighty in you
all the time you let Him work.

For you were buried with
Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because
you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead.
The
power of God gave us salvation. The
power of God gives us daily righteousness.
The power of God guides us, protects us, inspires us, blesses us,
corrects us … you get the point.
Lets
spend some time today longing for, looking for and enjoying the power of God.
