How you walk is a big deal. There are some things you can do in where you put your feet or how you lean over or several other things that will hurt your body if you don’t walk correctly. Also, if you where the right shoes you can walk a lot further.
The word walk doesn’t always mean you have to move your feet. The Bible will use the word walk in the understanding of how we live our lives.
How you walk is important.
Colossians 1:10 NASB
so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Walk so God is seen in your life.
2 Corinthians 5:7 NASB
for we walk by faith, not by sight—
Faith is the way to walk. I’ve even gotten lost guiding my walk by my eyes or by GPS.
Ephesians 5:15 NASB
Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise,
Joshua 22:5 NASB
Only be very careful to observe the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God and walk in all His ways and keep His commandments and hold fast to Him and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Be careful that you walk with wisdom and with the direction you have been given.
How we walk really does matter. Maybe you are planning a hike. Like a hike through the Bible or a hike around the mountains. No matter where or how, walk in a way that honors God and goes somewhere.
Enjoy the journey. Walk out the joy you find in what really matters in life. For me that includes faith.
3 John 1:4 NASB
I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.
God said it about us just like the writer of John said it and how I say it about my kids.
Walk it out!
