Romans 5:3-5 NLT
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
Life is far from easy. In fact if we take a hard look at present situations around our nation and around the world we will see things that strangle hope. It squeezes us and others where we have a hard time breathing and seeing the future.
Get perspective. God is still in control. We believe that the things God has taught us go far beyond any trials and every struggle we go through. It doesn’t matter whether we have been alive 5 years, 55 years or 105 years, God is moving, and He is working in our lives.
Look at the pain and problems. Don’t let those things end your hope and your living.
These struggles build endurance in our lives. That endurance gives us strength and more hope. Remember hope is our theme for 2021 at The Community Fellowship.
Let God through the work of the Holy Spirit work through the trials, the struggles, the pain and problems to build our hope. As we hope in the Lord others will be strengthened and have more hope than ever before.
