Hello Community family and friends
I trust you are doing well and keeping your eyes on Jesus. This season continues to be a tough one, yet I am seeing God do some incredible things that he alone can do.
Please join me and others this Sunday evening at 6pm for a pot luck dinner and worship on the back porch of the new campus. Pot luck meal means you are to bring food for your family and some food to share with others.
We have a mission team arriving Sunday evening that will be working at the new campus this coming week. Pray for this team AND come and help if you possibly can. There is room and need for others to help.
We will offer tours of the new campus beginning at 5pm. This is located at 700 Commerce Court in Martinsville. We have been working on this new building that will house our church and ministries for several years, and our prayer is that God will complete it in the next year.
Sunday morning I begin preaching a new series titled "Good God" and He is that. Our God is good and so much more. I hope to see you Sunday morning at 10:10 as well.
Don't forget about our free community meal each Saturday at 5pm at the Martinsville Hotel and our addiction ministry worship service Saturdays at 6pm at the church in Collinsville. There is always a place for you. Our food pantry and clothing closet are open Monday through Thursday from 9 till 2, the same time our church office is open each week.
Please pray for the family of Tom Haynes as he passed away yesterday. He is Gloria's husband (she was our church ministry assistant for several years) and Joe's dad.
Remember that we are called to demonstrate the love of God to our community, and my prayer for our church is that we will gain strength as we seek the Lord together and serve. I look forward to seeing you this weekend!
