1 Kings 8:56 NASB
“Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel in accordance with everything that He promised; not one word has failed of all His good promise, which He promised through Moses His servant.
God is constantly inviting people into His presence and to know His peace. That is why I started a new series yesterday at The Community Fellowship.
We are talking about our “good God” and how His life and plan changes each person that comes in to His presence. We experience His goodness, His mercy, His direction and so much more.
Interacting with God begins us in to personal relationship with the most important person who ever lived, Jesus. Interacting with God places us before the one who started it all, holds it all, and whose promises are bigger and better than anything we have heard or experienced.
God invited Moses in to His presence while he was serving his father in law. It happened through a burning bush. You can read more about that in Exodus 3.
Exodus 3:5 NASB
Then He said, “Do not come near here; remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”
With his shoes on he was too far away from God. Take your shoes off, God said, This ground is holy. You are in my presence.
There is power in the presence of God. There is refreshing in the presence of God. There is changed life in the presence of God. And so much more.
Enjoy His presence. Maybe not a burning bush, but He is inviting you to spend time with Him and to know Him and to experience life. Take off your shoes, your are too high off ground
Joshua experienced something similar in Joshua 5. Both of these situations and invitations to spend time with God left them more confident about their calling from God as well as giving them what they needed to lead others to encounter God.
We need time in His presence, and we have an invitation to do just that.

Give to the Lord the glory he deserves! Bring your offering and come into his presence.
