We continue our journey toward Easter, and the reality of this blessing and how messy that first Easter was continues to grab my attention. This was so true as I listened to a song yesterday.

The powerful truth of this song and what Jesus did for us seems a little overwhelming. No. It is a lot overwhelming.
The cross was the place where our debt was fully paid and where our sin was forgiven to bring us hope.
And on to the tomb that is empty but used all so the lamb of God could do what He was sent to do.
Finally, thank you, Jesus, for all your have done for us. This song and so much more make the reality and the gravity of Easter come alive even more.
