Final thoughts. Wait. I am not talking about the end of it all, but it is the end of the week. Take this as a challenge to start the weekend with some encouragement to hear from God and believe some of the most important truths we are given.
Read through these and mark the truths that stand out to you. It is amazing to understand how God uses these things, and more, to strengthen our faith and help us walk daily with God.
Read on. Be challenged.
Joshua 1:7-8 NLT
Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. 8 Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.
Psalm 139:17-18 NLT
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! 18 I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!
Isaiah 40:31 NLT
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
Matthew 28:19-20 NLT
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
John 3:17 NLT
God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
Romans 5:8 NLT
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
Ephesians 2:8-9 NLT
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
Colossians 3:2-4 NLT
Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. 3 For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.
Revelation 3:20 NLT
Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.
Powerful truth. Hold on to your faith and see how God changes your life and the lives of the people around you.
