Saturday is #SERVEday19 where churches across the world have chosen to partner to serve their communities. We have chosen to do the same. It is part of our DNA. Serving is.
Through the #back2school outreach we serve. Saturday is the first of two registration days, and it happens at each location. This year there are 15 locations in 4 different states with a goal to serve 4,000 students and their families. I am so excited. Will you help? Come out and serve.
Saturday is also our 2nd Saturday FREE meal and clothes closet at the church in Collinsville. Volunteers are to arrive at 8:30am as we are open from 9 till noon. This is always a great time where we serve up to 300 people on a Saturday morning. Will you help? Come on out.
Every Saturday at 5pm there is a group of people who go to the Martinsville Hotel to serve a hot meal. Between 100 and 200 plates are served almost every Saturday. We have cooks who prepare and servers who serve. There is always room for more. Will you help? Check it out.
Saturday evenings at 6pm is our addiction ministry at the church in Collinsville. Really this is a worship service pointed to those who are hurting and battling various addictions, and any one is welcome to attend. Will you help? Come worship with these awesome people.
Don’t forget church Sunday morning at 10:10am, but first comes #SERVEday19 that we hope many of our people will join in with. PLUS, many of you aren’t close to us, and I pray you will choose to serve where you are. What do think? Choose to serve!

A teacher. My wife. A pastor. A nurse. A servant. And me. All of those were part of our recent mission trip to Cuba. It was awesome serving along side these extremely committed people. I want to say a huge thank you to them, and let others know that we can all give what we have, use our talents and make a difference.
God is using people just like you and me to make a difference. Choose to be part of #SERVEday19
