Some days are harder than others. We have all experienced that. Looking back at our past we have marked out the roads and experience that make us who we are, often define us and remind us of the trials as well as the blessings.
But be careful what you hang on to. Our past should not define us. I am speaking of our struggles and failures, our loses and grief. Yet in our past there are some things that do define us, and do it well.
What are those? It is the times God has shown up through the pain. It is time God answered our prayers. It is the times we heard Him speak or saw His hand.
Remember those times even when it is hard. Losing a loved one is hard. Going through that sickness and that valley wasn’t easy at all. But God was there. He was working.
Seek God each and every day. Remember His goodness. Remember who you as His child are. Don’t stop seeking Him!
Psalm 105:4 NLT
Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him.
Matthew 6:33 NLT
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
Isaiah 10:20 NLT
In that day the remnant left in Israel, the survivors in the house of Jacob, will no longer depend on allies who seek to destroy them. But they will faithfully trust the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.
Today is a good day to give thanks to God. Today is a good day and an opportunity to seek the Lord!
