You know those days. It is when something just clicks and makes you smile. That could be one of many things, but one of the best ones is when what you are reading in the Bible makes sense.
That was the case as the Bible and my Bible reading made my mind click and thoughts race and smile increase. I will share just a few of those verses today. You might even go read the entire chapter. It ought to make us get even closer to the God who loves us so much.
Ephesians 2 NLT
4 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much,
7 So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.
8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
14 For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.
That is enough and wow. Right? Those verses gives us great insight to what God did for us that we could not do for ourselves. Right? Read them again.
God loves us so much!
God gave us grave and kindness that we did not and do not deserve!
God saved us by His grace and all by His doing!
God made us to do great things and literally made us!
God has given us peace!
That chapter caught my attention, and I pray it will catch yours. And it will make you smile.
