There has never been a season like this. We have been through the last 2 months some things that no one, no people have ever experienced. I remind each of us that we need God.
He has a plan. He is working. It is our turn to stick with Him. Be reminded of some truths.
Isaiah 55:6 NASB
Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near.
We start by seeking the Lord. He is near and is ready to help each of us find life and so much more.
Isaiah 43:19 NASB
“Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.
Remember this promise? If you where there when our church was birthed, almost 14 years ago, you heard this verse.
God continues to work and guide and meet needs. That is why we are committed to demonstrate the love of God to our community through acts of random kindness with the desired outcome that we get to share the hope that comes from Jesus alone.
Those rivers are awesome. They can flood anytime. Those roadways are full of adventure and abundant life. God is planning each for His people.
That is why this weekend we take a step back in to the church. The Covid-19 pandemic has been a time of uncertainty and stress, struggle and unknown, long days and wishing it would end. God isn’t like that.
He is certain and full of peace. He is our strength and by faith leads each of us and His church. The days are not as long as eternity will be.
Join us. Your church might not be having in-person services but it will in the weeks ahead. We need God. He is essential, and His love is eternal. He is doing something new, and that is why we will seek Him.
Psalm 68:9 NLT
You sent abundant rain, O God, to refresh the weary land.
I hope to see you this Sunday in person or online. If you aren’t in our area, pray for our church and yours as we seek God and what He is doing!
