That is a quote from
a family serving in Nepal. They are
actively sharing Jesus in creative ways as all of us are called to do wherever
we are.
This week is set
aside by our mission board as a week of prayer for international missions. As a pastor and a Christian it excites me to
hear stories of what God is doing around the world. God continues to change lives.
I have met some
people who serve or have served in various places around the world in the name
of Christ. I have had the opportunity to
travel to a few countries and see the work that missionaries and mission
projects are getting done. And each of
us can be part of this week. We can be
part of the work even without leaving where we are right now.
We can give. Your church has mission projects and
missionaries. Choose to give. Our churches annual mission offering is
taking place right now. Our church is
currently taking up our annual mission offering that we would love to invite
you to take part in. You can go to the
following link and choose missions https://tcf.ccbchurch.com/goto/giving
For more info and to
pray specifically for the missionaries and mission projects go to

You and I have been
given the opportunity to share Christ where we are and to help Christ be shared
in places all around the world. Will we take
part in what really matters?
Acts 13:47 NIV
For
this is what the Lord has commanded us: “ ‘I have made you a light for the
Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’
Be light. Do that by being on mission, giving to
missions and through prayer.
Pray. One of the biggest and most likely the best
way to be involved in missions is to pray.
Pray for the people you know and the ones you don’t. Pray for places and people around the
world. People in every place, every
corner and in every country need the same Jesus we have found!
1 Chronicles 16:24
NIV
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds
among all peoples.
If you are part of
The Community Fellowship, I challenge you to give your best gift possible to
our annual mission offering. We will
take this offering through the end of December.
Send your gift to The Community (PO Box 388, Collinsville, VA 24078),
bring your gift to church on Sunday or any day we are open, or give online at https://tcf.ccbchurch.com/goto/giving. Thank you for doing what God called all of us
to do. Be on mission sharing Jesus with
the world!
