Hello Community family and friends
Once again it looks like we will be having some winter weather this weekend. That means the possibility of snow and ice as well as dangerous travel conditions.
Your church leadership asks you to use extreme caution during this time especially when you have to leave home. We also encourage you to check on others around you (neighbors, friends, family) who might need assistance or have a need.
We will always have our Sunday morning worship service at 10:10am, yet we understand that there will be only a few people who are able to be at church. Our decision to have church is fully with that understanding.
Since many will not be able to make it church and choose to stay home, we ask you to join in several different ways:
Watch Online. As we do every week, the Sunday morning message will be LIVE on Facebook. It will begin most weeks as early as 10:40am, but when the weather is difficult, the LIVE service will begin just after 10:10am. Go to our church Facebook page at www.facebook.com/tcf1010 and will be on this page after it is live to be watched again. Please share the message and the live feed. You can also watch the previous week’s service on BTW21 either on local Comcast cable or at www.btw21.com.
Don’t forget to GIVE. One of the great resources we have is online giving. You are able to give one time gifts or even reoccurring gifts. Go to https://tcf.ccbchurch.com/goto/giving and walk through this process using your credit/debit card or your bank account.
Be a Blessing. There are many times we can step up to serve others, encourage people and even meet needs. Our calling is to demonstrate the love of God to our communityand beyond. What better time to do this than when people are isolated and may have specific needs. This could be providing a meal. This could be providing transportation to the store or hospital. This could mean shoveling snow off a drive way or simply having a conversation.
To sum up choose to be safe and choose to be a blessing. The Community Fellowship is a place where people are learning about God, receiving His gift of hope and joining in to make a difference in our community. There is no better life to live than one that Jesus uses to make a difference.
I love each of you. Please let me know how I can or our church leaders can serve you. Have a great weekend… safe and blessed and serving!
With GOD as my guide,
Pastor Michael Harrison
