Where were you on Tuesday, September 11,
2001? I remember where I was like it was yesterday. Not all the
events of the day stand out, but as soon as I heard what was going on I went
home to watch the events of the day unfolding on TV.
I saw this as an attack on our nation and on me. Many lives were lost that days, and I remember and challenge you with a very common phrase… “we will never forget”. We won’t forget that fact that America is a gift from God. We won’t forget those who those who wanted to hurt our country. We won’t forget those who lost their lives that day. We will not forget the families whose lives were forever changed on that day.
What do you do when your world is turned upside down? You may have been through a devastating time as such. Many have not.

Do not be afraid of sudden fear Nor of the onslaught of the wicked when it comes;

Therefore comfort one another with these words.
There are times to trust God. Times of crisis is when we need to comfort each other. Currently those hit by recent hurricanes and the September 11th crisis day are times to trust God. Every day trust God so that when tough times come you will continue to trust God.
Psalm 62:8 NASB
Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah.
May God help us remember and share with others that we are blessed; yet in the middle of any crisis God is at work in and through our lives. That may be the time when someone is more apt to hear from and meet God. Our lives and our faith as well as our respond to trouble will tell others of who God is in our lives.
We are blessed, and our nation is not centered on God has it has been in the past. Pray for our nation and the world around us.
