encounter a wonderful paradox. We are told that the lamb of God is also the
shepherd (Rev 7:17). Just as he told us earlier, he does this by laying down
his life for us. The good shepherd had become the lamb to die for us so that we

The agony of
Easter, the death of our Savior comes with a high price yet a great
purpose. It is the week of Easter, and
each of us have to come to grips with the truth that our sin, our shortcomings,
our pain kept Jesus on the cross.
Walk around the
corner or through the days of the calendar that weekend and see that what kept
Jesus on the cross became what Jesus, the son of God, overcame by the power of
God who raised Jesus from the dead. He
became the Christ, He fulfilled the place of Messiah and more of the reality of
the need for this holiday.
Easter is this
week. Easter is our family event. It gave us the right to be the children of
God, to have our sins covered and removed.
Done. Easter’s death, burial and
resurrected is everything that was needed.
