Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.
Jesus had a following as he was on earth, and we as humans want to see with our eyes and feel with our hands and hear with our ears so we can believe and even follow. Do you remember the conversation Jesus has with Thomas who doubted? Jesus said we should have faith, believe and follow.
He said we would never be alone. That is why He shared about the coming holy spirit, God Himself, that would come to us after He left the earth. We would not be alone.
Follow the spirit. Listen, learn and follow!
Colossians 2:20 NLT
You have died with Christ, and he has set you free from the spiritual powers of this world. So why do you keep on following the rules of the world, such as,
It is the Spirit of God that leads us and that frees us. We don’t have to do life the old way. We do not have to go back to the way it was. We must not let our past failures dictate what we can do or even should do.
We have been set free by God and through His spirit. We can go a new way. Why not follow this truth?
Ezekiel 36:27 NLT
And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.
The Spirit changes everything. Follow God. Listen to the Spirit. Learn how He responds and even share what He has taught you.
What we follow is seen by all around us. Are we following the Spirit of God? Following isn’t easy, but God makes this possible. Let’s follow!
Matthew 16:24 NLT
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.
