Psalm 119:105 NLT
Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.
Whether you get to the speedway early in the morning or are there late at night, the lights shine for what seems like forever. There are shadows and dark spots. Yet for miles you can see the lights, and they help you see so much.
That is what we see as a ministry team serving race fans at Martinsville Speedway through Raceway Ministries. It is an honor to serve, to meet needs and to talk with people about Jesus.
It really is a light. Not those lights up on the tall polls around the racing oval or even in the parking lots. It is the light of Jesus that shines in and from our hearts because we have gotten to know Him. May His light be so real and shine bright from our lives.
Let your light shine. Let it shine bright for all to see. This could come from your reading of Scripture. That light really is amazing and so guides our way (see the verse above). This light will also guide the way for others and even lead them to Jesus (see the verse below).
There is something special about light. Let our light shine for Him this weekend and forever!
Matthew 5:16 NLT
In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
Pray for ministry this weekend at the speedway and for many Jesus conversations to be shared!
