As we come to Friday and the weekend maybe you are ready for a break like I am or in need of rest. I think both those things are gifts from God.
That is why I am going to point you to two verses. Both were in my quiet time and reading from the Bible today. Both stopped me in my thinking and acting. Both left me praying and asking God to reveal in me where He is working and how I apply His truth.
Read these. Take some time to pray through these. See where God is working in your life and apply His truth.
James 3:13 CSB
Who among you is wise and understanding? By his good conduct he should show that his works are done in the gentleness that comes from wisdom.
Proverbs 16:2 CSB
All a person’s ways seem right to him, but the Lord weighs motives.
Powerful truths. Powerful because they come from God.
Now it is our turn to apply them and live out our faith.
Have a great weekend and spend time with others worshipping the one who loves you most!
