choose to vote

Tomorrow is election day and our opportunity to vote.  As Americans we have the right and privilege to live in a free country and to take part in elections.  Don’t take that for granted.

Things may be hard around us, but we have so many blessings that others around the world do not have.  If you haven't voted yet, step up and exercise your right to do so.  I am pray for our community and our nation as well as our leaders.  Join in those prayers.

Why should we vote?  Good citizens take their responsibility seriously.  Honor God and the standards He calls us to.

Where should we focus?  Focus on what is right Biblically and the blessings we have.  Choose not to be negative.  Be positive.  See blessings and even dream big.

Why should we care?  Many think that voting will not make a difference.  Stop looking at the struggle and what holds us back.  Look at how we can move a difference.  Begin to live with purpose and responsibly.

I choose to hold on to what God has said.  God is changing us.  Pray that God works in our community and nation.  Here is the choice … Do what is right.  Pray for yourself, for your family, for those you influence and for our nation as well as the world.

Psalm 111:10  NLT

Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever!

Vote as God leads and make a difference!  That Biblical fruit will grow and remain.

John 15:16  NLT

You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.
