values and voting

The greatest things in all the world are not things.  We should learn what God values most as well as what is most important.   We would agree that is people.  God loves people.

That is another reason I remind you that on the day we get to vote that we should value what God values and vote based on those values.  It is evident that we know God by what is most valuable to us and in how we treat others.

Hold tight to what you should and let go of all what is not valuable …

Genesis 1:27  NLT

So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Jeremiah 31:3  NLT

Long ago the Lord said to Israel: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.

Romans 5:8  NLT

But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

1 Peter 1:18-19  NLT

For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. 19 It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.

Ephesians 2:4-7  NLT

But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) 6 For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. 7 So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.

Vote today is you haven’t already.  God gives us value and teaches values.  May we value what God does.  That is all.  You are valuable!
