my Father has it

 

Philippians 4:19  NLT  

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

I am sure you have had some of the same thoughts and doubts that I and many others have had.  It is easy to be down and discouraged, yet that is when we need to remember.  

Remember the past.  Remember what God has done.

Remember the promised.  Remember what God has promised His children.

Remember who you are.  Remember that by God’s grace we are His children.

That makes a difference when the doubt is overwhelming, when the discouragement seems to have no end and when the enemy is winning the war for our thinking.

Change that thinking by remembering that my Father has it.  Your faith has what you need.  He will provide.  He will provide in his time.

As I drove home last night from a meeting I was doing the typical.  Getting home and listening to whatever song was playing.  And most of the time I sing along.  This song was I Will Provide, and it has some lines that stuck out for me.

Look at the flowers in all of their beauty, I don't have to wonder, You know what You're doing.  Yes, that's right.  So why would I worry at all 'cause You're faithful to supply?  Let's just declare this together

Sing, everything I need, Everything I need My Father has it, My Father has it.  And every single time The Lord will provide, that's right.  My Father has it.  Yes, my Father has it, yes.  Yes, He does.  Oh, my Father has it.  Yes, I trust You

And look at the sparrow lacking for nothing.  No fear of tomorrow and what it will bring.  Oh, You are enough.  If I have You, I have enough 'cause Your love will satisfy…

everything I need, Everything I need.  My Father has it.  My Father has it.  And every single time The Lord will provide, that's right…

Go find the song and declare this truth.  My father has it.  All that I need.  My father has it.
