Here is an article (this article is from The Gospel Coalition) helping drive home the point I would like to make today. The following post is not a political statement naming one candidate as better than anther or an assertion that you should vote for a particular candidate or cause. What I am seeking to share is that Christians have an obligation. Tuesday is Election Day. Schools in our area are closed as they are used as voting locations. Many people use this as a day of rest. I believe many people see Election Day as the day that all the Facebook posts, TV commercials, back biting, opinionated people and name calling come to an end. At least some of that will end. It is my opinion that we have a huge problem in our country, and those who are on the ballot to be our next president are an indication of the severity of the problem.
