Yes, I am getting older.   But so is this great country of ours.   With time things change.   My eyesight has changed and even more. In relation to spiritual truth my eyesight has changed a great deal.   At first I thought this was due to diabetes, but that is not the case.   The eye doctor told me that the change in what I can see or how I see is due to age.   Yes, I am getting older. As we move forward in our faith there are times we see less when we should be seeing much more.   That can happen because we are less sensitive to God or that we have stopped growing in our faith.   Take some time to refocus your spiritual sight like we refocus our ability to see. That might mean glasses to wear.   That might mean having corrective surgery.   It could mean compensating in other ways.   We need to be able to see and understand. God removes barriers

BARRIERS 2 Corinthians 3:16   NASB but whenever a person turns to the Lord , the veil is taken away . There are many barriers in life that keep us from moving forward, and as a Christian we serve a God who deals with and even removes barriers.   Each barrier has different characteristics and comes for different reasons.   Some barriers are due to our poor choices or maybe from the things we learned from others that are not true.   In the verse above we learn that when Jesus comes in to our lives that He will begin to remove the veil in our lives.   The veil talks about what or how we can see.   It also refers to what happened when Jesus died and the veil in the temple was torn in two meaning that people can come to God on their own.   The veil also signifies we see life and people different.   I believe this means God begins to remove barriers in our lives.
