Galatians 6:9 NLT So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. This verse caught my attention early this week as I was reading and preparing for an upcoming sermon. God uses His word, the Bible, often to speak to my heart, to deal with certain situations and to transform me to be more like Jesus. Let’s take the verse in pieces and ask God to help us become more like Jesus. Keep on doing what it good. Now, who specifies what good? Of coarse we put our stock in God being the one who defines good. The things that God would qualify would be what makes a difference in the world and grows His kingdom. We are also not to quit.
