Where were you on Tuesday, September 11, 2001? I remember where I was like it was yesterday. Not all the events of the day stand out, but as soon as I heard what was going on I left the church office and went home to watch on the TV the events of the day unfolding. That night there was a special meeting at church that was attended by many people. For me as an American I saw this as an attack on our nation and on me. Many lives were lost that days, and the key phrase for this post and for us to remember is “we will never forget”. We won’t forget that fact that America is a gift from God. We won’t forget those who those who wanted to hurt our country. We won’t forget those who lost their lives that day: the airplane staff, the passengers, those in the tower, the first responders and more.
