pray for students

Pray for the students.  This week and the past few weeks have reminded me of the important investment and incredible opportunity we have to love students.  Every age from the very young to college age students are around us. Choose to be an agent of change and strengthening.  This could be words of encouragement or even some time well spent with students.  Teach them at church.  Shoot basketball with them.  Go to summer camp as a counselor.  Do something to impact the younger generation and support the ministries that work with them. Graduations are happening or have happened.  College students are moving in the work force or getting ready for more study.  High school students are seeing opportunities for college, work or more years of study.  And others are having the joy of summer and such. Pray for these students.  I found an article that encouraged us to pray in some certain ways for students.  Use these as a guide: ...

we need revival

Revival services have been happening the last two weeks on college campuses the last two weeks.  The awe and news of revival is not new, but it is new for the people who are experiencing it. Yes, I shared the verse above and the verse below last week. 3 John 1:4   NASB I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth. This past weekend has been one of those times in the life of parents that we smile lots and cry too.   Julie and I really are blessed with 3 incredible children.   Rebecca, Ruth and Ryan have stolen our hearts and made us proud time and time again. As we dropped Ruth off at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg it was evident once again that we were going to be proud of and praying for her.   The college campus is beautiful.   The orientation process was excellent.   There is more to come.   What she has shared with us make us glad this was her choice for the next step of life and education. When we left on Saturday, all 3 of us were crying, a...
