Titus 3:14  NLT Our people must learn to do good by   meeting the urgent   needs of others; then they will not be unproductive. There is nothing better than serving someone or doing something for a person when they cannot repay you in any way.  Who will you serve today?  It could be as simply as giving up your place in line at the store or taking them a meal because they have had surgery or many other possibilities. This is something I think about a lot.  Our church and the organizations we are part of make this our priority. In fact this weekend is the 5th time that a large group of people as joined together in our community to meet needs of health.  There is a FREE medical and dental clinic on Saturday from 7am until 4pm right here in uptown Martinsville.  Just show up.   Please share this with others and see the picture in the last post for more details. Philippians 2:4  NLT Don’t look out only for your own   interests, but take an   interest   in   others, too. Others.  That is a big word.  It is also a word that man people do not think about much or simply overlook.  Those of us who choose to follow Jesus have to heed what God says. Serve others.  Help others.  Make a difference in the lives of others. This coming Saturday in Martinsville is an awesome example of this love and service to the people of our community.  The goal is to serve 500 people with free dental and medical care plus many other resources. We are also offering foot washing and giving away new shoes as we do during back2school (volunteers are needed and should arrive at 7am).
