  Isaiah 61:1  NLT   The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. Jesus repeated that Scripture in His ministry, and it has rattled through what I do many times.  This is powerful and important truth. Julie and I wanted the move “Sound of Freedom” again yesterday.  It is about Tim Ballard who has battled to release children caught in the sex slave trade.  The movie is streaming online and worth your time.  It is tough to watch, but it is a true story reminded us of what is going on in so many places. some days in Romans 8

  The next few days we will examine some of Romans 8 and how God gives us the truth of how He has changed out lives.  These verses dig in deep. Deep in to our conviction fueling our confidence.  Deep in to our minds removing the lies and distractions from our enemy.  Deep in to our futures with what God has already settled for each of us who know Him. Read on and note what sticks out for you. Romans 8:1-2  NLT   So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. 2 And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.  Condemnation is something that we have to deal with.  Just living in and out of each day we will come across the struggles and even the battles that leave us scared and beaten down by condemnation.  So how is it gone or thrown out? It is by the grace and goodness of God that we are forgiven of our sins and destined for real freedom....
