Outcomes are always something I am thinking about.  But you know the “cause and aeffect” thinking some times goes a little further than I think or understand.  I am talking about in the scientific world or physics and stuff I just don’t understand.   Here is something I do understand and continue to learn… Proverbs 26:27  NASB   One who digs a pit will fall into it, And one who rolls a stone, it will come back on him. That is a very simple cause and effect.  The outcome is based on what you do and why you do it.  Is God involved?  Yes, He is.   That is why we have to learn from God (like listening to the Holy Spirit and reading the Bible).  Often Proverbs is the wisdom I need for a particular situation or thought.  God and wise people help us understand things. Lean on those who know.  Do what is right always. I turn our attention today to a “cause and effect” that sticks in my mind.  I have shared these verses many times ...

Pray for the outcomes that the Bible promises.  Living for God is not just getting to heaven or just getting by.  His plan for His children is to bless you and for you to be a blessing to others. I look back over the students that have been part of the back2school outreach (as well as those who will be served this weekend) and know that God has been working, He has a plan and He will be doing far more than any of us know.  What are we expecting God to do? Think about this… if we expect nothing, we will get that most often.  If we expect a lot, we will get some and more of a lot.  I want to expect the promises of God to be fulfilled and seen around my life and around the people I come in contact with.  Those blessings are attached to God, not to me.   What outcomes am I expecting from the work of back2school this year?  Thanks for asking.  These are some of the things I am praying for: Jude 1:20-21  NLT   But you, dear friends, must ...
