Jude 22-24  NLT 22  And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. 23 Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. This past Sunday we started a new series at church called #beThankful, and I will be walking through 1 Thessalonians this month following that theme.  The larger thought was about the beauty of God rescuing us. But we also rescue others.  Think about it. Those kind words may rescue someone from deeper depression. That act of kindness might let someone see they have something to live for. Those prayers might be the key to give hope to someone who thinks they have none. Read the verses above once again. ...

God rescued you and me from darkness

Start at a place where you know there is truth or a great foundation.   Then whatever you build on it will be stronger and able to stand again the enemy or any attack that may come. 2 Timothy 1:7  NLT For God has not given us a  spirit   of   fear  and timidity, but  of  power, love, and self-discipline. Fear is one of the greatest enemies.   Fear doesn’t come from God. John 10:10   NLT The thief’s purpose is to  steal  and  kill  and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. There is our enemy.   Plan and simple and true that Satan desires to make any follower of Jesus impotent and weak.   But if we believe what God says, we will be ready to seek and share truth, stand firm on faith, share our pain and our passion.
