One of the first movies I saw with Robin Williams was Dead Poets Society , and it was had a line that stuck with me, with lots of people actually. It was “carpe diem” or “seize the day”. That movie depicted a teacher influencing the students entrusted to his care. Williams was the kind of person that questioned the norm and helped others find their purpose. On a side note, I have refrained from giving my thoughts on Robin Williams’ death and his battle with depression, but I plan in the weeks ahead to share my understanding as well as the struggle that so many people battle that leads to choices such as Williams made.
