  Years ago I had a conversation with a prayer warrior friend that led me to hear about and understand the concept of an "audience of one".  This is good.  So good.  We talked about people who prepared to preform for an important person like the president, the pope, queens or others.  Lots of people would be in the audience, but one honorable person is in attendance.  Ultimately it felt like an "audience of one".   Moving a bit further I learned how we are living our lives and giving our praise for an audience of one, God.  The one who made us, loves us, sent His son for us and continues to give to us every day.   The music group Big Daddy Weave puts it this way in their song by the same name:   To my audience of one.  You are Father, and you are Son As your spirit flows free, Let it find within me A heart that beats to praise you. Psalm 46:10   NLT “ Be still , and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” Connecting to God is something that before Jesus came was almost impossible.   God sent His son to allow us to have a personal relationship with Him.   He made a way.   He built a road.   He began what is for us a new way to live and a true way to live with meaning. But it is really is not possible to live with strength or passion or with growing Spiritual life if we do not connect privately with our God.   In those places of silence or quiet we can hear from, speak to and spend time with the one who loves us most and has the best plan for our lives. It is often in our quietest times with God that He speaks the loudest and our lives change the most. Sunday I began sharing a new series with our church family.
