Proverbs 18:22  NLT The man who finds a   wife   finds a treasure, and he receives   favor   from the   Lord . That is the way I see it, but of coarse I am the father of the bride.  This has been a big, good, blessed weekend as we got to be part of a sacred event for our daughter and our new son, Ruth and Sean. There are so many things I would like to share about the wedding and everything leading up to it.  Honestly, it is too much for one sitting or one devotion.  Therefore, I plan to share just some of the pieces. Psalm 127:3  NLT Children   are a   gift   from the   Lord ; they are a reward from him. It is hard for me to believe that our baby Ruth is getting married in two days.  This young lady has been a blessing to our family for a long time.  Oh, there are so many memories and stories I could share, but it is cool that all our kids are different, so very different. I could not be any prouder as a father of how Ruth has grown through the years and the precious lady that she is.  Then I got to meet this guy she met while away at college.  Of coarse as a dad I was skeptical because dads are supposed to believe no body is good enough for their baby.  I thought that, and then I met Sean.  We are blessed to have a new son in the family in this gentleman who has shown himself strong and full of faith.
