Do you think that people of faith have a tendency to play it safe? I do, and it ticks me off. There. I said it. Far too often God reveals His best to us and give us wide-open opportunities to live for Him, to stretch and live our faith. What do we do? We end up playing it safe. Someone says, "I am just not sure about it." Another chimes in, "It doesn't feel comfortable." Someone else, "That's not reasonable." Ok. Let's stop there and consider what it means to play it safe. Could it mean you don't take any risks? Yes. Could it mean that you do nothing unless you understand it or it seems reasonable? Most likely.
