it's not over ... back2school

It’s not over.  In fact, we have only just begun. Back2school is happening.  This afternoon at The Community Fellowship we will serve special needs students and their families.  Saturday we will serve hundreds of students.  We are excited about them all. It isn’t over because we have a message to share.  Please join me in praying for each person that interacts with our back2school team members.   I believe this is who God has called us to be.  I mean, I love the church, and specifically I love the church God has allowed me to serve.  What a blessing. But the “big C” is important.  It is a big deal.  I am talking about all the people who have made Jesus their savior.  We are children of God.  We might attend different churches.  We might lives in different places or communities.  But what is most important is we have the same story to tell. The story is about Jesus.  It’s not over. The story gets sweeter and sweet...

what's on my mind #back2school 2023

We are in the middle of the back2school outreach, and there are so many things going on.  It is good stuff.  It is a lot of stuff. Second,  Ephesians 6:23  NLT   Peace be with you, dear brothers and sisters, and may God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you love with faithfulness. Peace and faithfulness.  Share the love of God that you came to know.  Don’t just keep it inside. Now for the brain dump as it relates to back2school. Oh, the kids are the most critical piece of the entire outreach.  Not the school supplies or ba...

another Monday mind dump

Romans 5:1   NLT Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. This is another Monday mind dump after a very busy week in the middle of the Christmas season.   I love this time of the year and all that goes with it, but there are some things, thoughts and situations that seems a bit overwhelming. It helps me a lot to organize my thoughts and plan the steps ahead.   A mind dump is a compiled list of totally random thoughts.   Some of these are big and have a load of consequences while others are tiny and carry almost no weight at all. My prayer is that you will be encouraged to think more and seek God daily.   There are many choices ahead, and there are many blessings God wants to give us right ahead.   So, here is my Monday mind dump.   Remember.   These are so very random. a.   our oldest child, Rebecca, just finished her...
