Be a blessing to others. That is a choice we make because our actions, our thoughts and really all we have is linked to how we look at life. We should be a blessing to others because we know that we are blessed.
Ephesians 1:3 NLT
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.
God has blessed us with so much and in so many ways. This is just one part, and the real blessings begin on the inside, in our hearts and minds, as we realize who we are and what we have.
Choose to be a blessing to others each day. Pray for others. Speak well of others and speak blessings to others.
Here are some blessings from the Bible that come to mind as I think about being a blessing…
Numbers 6:24-26 NLT
‘May the Lord bless you and protect you. 25 May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. 26 May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.’
Romans 15:13 NLT
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Psalm 139:13-18 NLT
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. 15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. 16 You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. 17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! 18 I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!
We are blessed. May we be a blessing to others today and every day.
Be a blessing. Speak blessings today!
