preparing for back2school

It is getting closer to  ‪#‎ back2school‬  outreach time. your help IS needed & here is the upcoming schedule for  The Community Fellowship : Saturday, 9am —  counting school supplies  at the new campus Sunday, 6pm —  setting up the church  in Collinsville Monday – Thursday, 9am till noon —  preparing clothes closet Tuesday, 6pm —  packing backpacks  at the new campus Thursday, 7pm —  volunteer training  at The Community Friday, 9am until afternoon —  special needs children served  (VOLUNTEERS NEEDED) Saturday, before 7am — the  BIG day  and EVERYONE is needed For information, questions, to donate (you can give online at the link below) or to volunteer call the church at 276-647-8231 or email mharrison@thecommunityfellowship.org . the power of grateful prayers

I am grateful for my family.   Julie has started a new job as a 1st grade teacher at the school that is closest to our house, and I am big time grateful.   As Ruth gets ready to leave for college each day seems to show us more blessings of how God has prepared her for this time.   I don’t look forward to her leaving, but I am as a dad so grateful for her and this opportunity.   I am thankful that today Ryan finishes his 2nd week of band camp and is having a good time.   Rebecca is working her first job this summer and enjoying it.   I’m grateful for God providing for Rebecca and making her so strong.   In just one week we will host the 9th year of back2school.   I am nervous and exited, but most of all I am so thankful. You get the point.   It is a big deal to be thankful.   When we are not grateful or maybe oblivious to god’s blessing, we are not where we should be.   Being thankful expands our hearts and minds.   A gr...
