The best place to learn about faith is the Bible.  God outlines for us to learn the truth and to see examples of what active faith looks like.  Take some time today to ask God to build your faith, to stretch you and to let your faith be stronger than ever before. Today I want to give you just a few facts about faith.  Check out these verses.  What stands out to you? Faith is a gift from God. Ephesians 2:8  NLT   God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Faith places peace in our lives. Romans 5:1  NLT   Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.  Faith sharpens our sight and gives insight. Years ago there was a TV show that used the phrase “just the facts”.  The show was called Dragnet, and it was typically when an investigator wold be looking for evidence in a case.  He wold ask for “just the facts” as he talked to someone. We ought to be looking for the facts and make sure what is false, what is deceptive and what does not line up with truth is pushed aside, or even thrown away.  We need to know, hold and share the facts about our faith.   It is when life is dark that we need to know the facts.  It is when life is tough that we need to know the facts.  It is when we are going down the roads that lead to depression that we need to know the facts.  It is when we are sick or suffering that we need to know the facts.  It is when we think all is lost and we are out of control that we need the facts. There are times that we have to change our definition of what being blessed means.   The problem is our definition, in human terms, is formed often by what we feel or believe.   God’s desire is for us to take His divine definition that comes by faith and not by feeling that we are blessed.   The fact is we are blessed.   It is not a feeling or something attain on our own.   These are God’s blessings on our lives.   Blessings may be seen in the form of money or relationships or happenings.   Blessings come because of what God has already done.   Listen up.   You are blessed.
