quick observations

Hello!  I just returned from Cuba last night, and I want to make just a few observations about life, freedom and our calling from God. You and I have a few things in common.  God is still God.  No matter where we are or what is going on we have God who loves us and has a plan for our lives.  His plan includes us in His plan.  And His plan includes our influence on the people around us. How is that?  We must listen.  We must watch.  We must get involved. we need real insight

Psalm 19:8   NLT The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living. Psalm 49:3   NLT For my words are wise, and my thoughts are filled with insight . There are some places that you just should stay away from.   It is like an addict that knows going there or being with those people will make things even harder.   We need to take to heart the insight we are given. “Insight” is two words combined in to one word.   It takes the ability to see or seeing well and places it in the context of seeing what is bigger or behind or under.   To have insight is to understand more and to be wise.   God is the beginning of real insight, and that is what we need. The verses I began with today give us a place to start.   God’s truth, whether law or poem or love, are laced with insight giving us the ability to have a better life.   His words give life, give in...
