  Hebrews 6:19  NLT This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. This past Sunday we finished our series from Hebrews at The Community Fellowship.  It has been a fast 6 weeks as we hits the highlights of the book, but there is so much more we can cover.  The hope God gives holds us tight. There are many firsts in our lives, but the ones you are thinking of are not the ones I am talking about today.  You might be thinking about your first words or your first steps.  A few steps further maybe you are thinking of your first kiss, first graduation or the first sermon you preached (if you are like me). How about the first Bible verses that come to mind when things come up in your life.  Today I want to share just a few of the first verses that come to mind during conversations or relationships around my life.  Read carefully.  God is working. In the past I have shared several verses that are close to my heart and that I use often.   Thought it was time to point you to some of the same verses and a few more. How these verses qualify as ones close to me is by some of these qualities: --- God brings them to my heart often. --- I learned them when I was young, and they stick with me. --- It speaks to the heart and actions of people I meet often. --- Particular verses are popular with people and found on walls of homes. --- Anything else that makes it important to me.
