There is nothing like the power of a group of people united around a common cause and willing to do whatever it takes.   This group finds that there is strength in numbers and power is real because they are working together.   We have seen this on numerous occasions. The first church was the same.   They knew Jesus more than anyone in their day and since.   Jesus raised the dead, healed the sick, gave courage to the hurting and gave hope to those who lacked hope. Right here in the first part of the book of Acts is the mighty power of God seen in the lives of the Apostles.   What Jesus gave them they gave to others.   In Acts 3 and in the first part of chapter four we seen the existence of God and His presence in the lives of the people the Apostles interacted with. The Holy Spirit is the presence of God in our lives and on earth today.   We are lost without Him, without God.   Acts 2 describes for us the coming of the Holy Spirit.   This was an amazing time for the early church as God moved daily.   The people lived with excitement and expectation.   We’ve got to live the same way.   If we are tired of having no power, no joy, no heart in what we do, then we have to do something different.
