walk it off

Walk it off.  Shake it out.  Get back on the horse. The way that we deal with situations in life says a lot about our faith.  Too often we see ourselves or others deal with things by how we get offended, by holding a grudge, by getting bitter rather than getting over it. Make a decision about how you are going to deal with the hurt people give you or by the blame that is placed on you.  Decide before it happens how you will feel, how you will react and that you will move on. When I was in elementary school, I remember getting hit by a baseball when I was pitching in a little league game.  It hurt.  My knee was not the best place for the baseball to end up.  The coach, who was my brother Steve, said I should “walk in off”. A few years later I had taken up horseback riding and learned to riding I fell off a couple times.  That was hard.  I remember one time my foot got caught in the stirrup of the saddle and dragging me a short distance.  ...
