There are so many things we could talk about. With the elections coming soon we could examine character and justice. With the pain from recent storms and disasters we could talk about the things people have gone through and are climbing back from. Let’s take a look. Yesterday I had the honor of preaching at a funeral for a friend whose son passed away. The son was in his 30’s. There are no answers and lots of pain. But what blew me away was not the message I brought. I was touched by the stories shared by families and friends. They spoke about his faith and humor, his acceptance of others and desire to serve.
