That is a quote often found on a plaque or picture hanging in someone’s house. It really is an example of grace lived out. It means a lot to me. I was sitting in a friend’s office recently and read this quote near the door: “ Grace isn't a little prayer you chant before receiving a meal. It's a way to live.” I am not sure who to attribute either quote to, but I do know that the origin from the beginning would be God. Grace is not only something our God gives to people. Grace is part of our God’s character. He gives grace and greater grace. It isn’t cheap. It isn’t free. Grace often lifts heavy weights off of shoulders and allows people to breath easier.
