our ability to see spiritually

Yes, I am getting older.   But so is this great country of ours.   With time things change.   My eyesight has changed and even more. In relation to spiritual truth my eyesight has changed a great deal.   At first I thought this was due to diabetes, but that is not the case.   The eye doctor told me that the change in what I can see or how I see is due to age.   Yes, I am getting older. As we move forward in our faith there are times we see less when we should be seeing much more.   That can happen because we are less sensitive to God or that we have stopped growing in our faith.   Take some time to refocus your spiritual sight like we refocus our ability to see. That might mean glasses to wear.   That might mean having corrective surgery.   It could mean compensating in other ways.   We need to be able to see and understand. put on the right armor

Note: much of the following post was first shared in 2015, and the armor of God is something we need to put on daily and to understand even more! Ephesians 6:10-17    NLT Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.   11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.   12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.   13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil.
