There are so many things rolling through our minds and even through our lives.  Several articles have caught my attention as we deal with the Coronavirus and all that it has been doing around us. Exodus 14:14  NLT The   Lord   himself will fight for you. Just stay   calm. The times we live in are unlike any we have been in before.  In fact there are happenings almost daily that remind me that we must pray and seek the Lord. Our church decided to have church online and not in person yesterday.  That was one of the most difficult decisions I have been part of while leading in ministry.  The church service went well as did the online piece and the technology that made it happen. There are so many others making difficult decisions each and every day, and the situation with the coronavirus makes even more complicated.  Pray for those struggling. I take note of the people who are suffering in hospitals who can only have one visitor and is missing the rest of their family.  Especially those suffering with the virus who are going through much that no one else understands. Psalm 146:5  NASB How blessed is he whose   help   is the God of Jacob, Whose   hope   is in the   Lord   his God, The chaos continues all around us.  The news changes, but the encouragement changes very little as we are asked to take the same precautions and take care of ourselves and others. The decision to have ONLINE CHURCH tomorrow and not in person was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make.  There are people all around who disagree, but our church’s key leadership team and I are grateful and believe totally that God led us to this decision. Friday, March 20, 2020   Community Family and Friends,   We find ourselves in a very serious time due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  The key leadership team of The Community Fellowship has met and prayed over our decision.  We WILL NOT be having worship service Sunday morning nor the addiction ministry on Saturday night.     Please know that was a very hard decision for us to make as we do not cancel church at The Community Fellowship, but this is very a different situation all together. Proverbs 16:9  NASB The   mind   of man   plans his way, But the   Lord  directs his steps. These are uncertain times we are living for many reasons including the COVID-19 virus that we are all having to deal with at this time.  One friend aptly said this is a time for common sense.  That is true.  Let your faith stay strong and be smart. Many things need to happen to keep us safe and strong no matter how things change, and things are changing almost by the day.  Appointments are being canceled.  People are being sent home from work either to work from home or being laid off.  Businesses are closing because people aren’t leaving their homes.  And there is so much more. Hello friends.  You know that word friend has a lot of meaning packed in to it.  God called us His friends.  We are His children, the ones He sent His son for, and we are the ones He chooses to spend time caring for and loving on.  That is a big deal. During this uncertain time we need friends and we need to be a friend.  But how do we do that in ways that benefit everyone the best and practices caution.  Honestly, I am sharing today from a position that is not very comfortable.  I am guessing that most of you aren’t very comfortable with all that is going on either.
